Renaming Your DTU EXP
If this app is unable to detect your DTU EXP, it may be because the device’s name has not been updated to the required DTU_EXP_V2 or DTU_EXP_V3. This guide will walk you through the steps to resolve this issue using the legacy app.
Step-by-Step Solution
– Ensure the legacy app is installed on your smartphone. If you no longer have it, download it here.
– Enable Bluetooth on your device and pair with DTU EXP via the legacy app.
– Navigate to the Module Parameter Set within the legacy app.
– If your device is T238 DTU V2 EXP，enter DTU_EXP_V2 as the new name and click Set up button. Like this:
– If your device is T238 DTU V3 EXP，enter DTU_EXP_V3 as the new name and click Set up button.
– Click the Refresh button to confirm whether the modification is successful.
4. Reconnect Using the New App
– Disconnect device via the legacy app and open the new app.
– Scan for devices— DTU_EXP_V2 or DTU_EXP_V3 may now be detected automatically.
